Where do lessons happen?

Lessons are online via Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams, so we can work with students across Australia and overseas.

Who do you work with?

• Primary students who need extra support with reading and writing

• High school students (Years 7–12) preparing for assessments and HSC English

• International students preparing for Australian secondary or tertiary study (AEAS, IELTS, PTE, Cambridge, SAT, MET)

• University and pathway students who need help with academic English, study skills and time management

How do I book a lesson?

1. Visit the Schedule page and complete the enquiry form / booking link.

2. We will reply by email with available times and a short questionnaire about your goals.

3. Once we confirm a time, we will send you a calendar invite with the meeting link.

Do you offer a trial lesson?

Yes. New students can book a 30-minute introductory session to:

• Discuss goals and concerns

• Look at a short writing sample or recent report

• Decide on the most suitable plan and schedule

What is your cancellation / rescheduling policy?

We understand that life is busy. To respect everyone’s time:

• 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged at the full fee.

• Genuine emergencies will always be handled with understanding – please email us as soon as you can.

How do I pay?

• Payment is made in advance via bank transfer / PayPal / [your preferred method].

• For regular students, payments can be made weekly or in blocks (e.g. 4 sessions at a time).

Do you give homework and feedback?

Yes. At the end of each session, we usually:

• Set a small amount of targeted homework (reading, writing or practice questions)

• Provide brief written or verbal feedback so students and parents know what we are working on next

• Adjust the learning plan based on progress
